the Binturong and the Lynx

Two sculpy things.

The first one -it's a binturong aka bearcat. I love them!

Premo Sculpey polymer clay over wire and foil armature, painted with acrylics.

He's 9 cm / 3,5 inch long. In person he doesn’t look that sad by the way :)

He's a gift now, and just before becoming one he got some nice ear tufts ^^

I used some reference pics while sculpting the guy, and one of mine as well (see below), i love it))

Arctictis binturong, aka bearcat is a species of the family Viverridae, which includes the civets and genets. It is a nocturnal animal.
It inhabits the rainforests of Thailand, China, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Bhutan, Burma, Laos, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines.
There he sleeps on tree branches and feeds mostly on fruits, though can also eat eggs and small prey.

And here is the second sculpey thing for this post - a lynx head, painted with tempera.
